Guardianship
The courts must appoint a guardian when a minor child receives any money, either from an inheritance, or a law suit, if it exceeds $15,000.00.
A guardian will also be appointed if the minor child’s parents have died or become incapacitated.
The law firm of Kimberly A. O'Steen will help guide you through the process of creating a legal guardianship for a minor child under any circumstance.
