Domestic Violence includes abuse of one family member by another in one or more of the following ways: Assault, battery, sexual assault, kidnapping, false imprisonment, stalking, verbal assault, and the threat of any of the aforementioned actions.
A restraining order or other temporary injunction prevents a person who has committed a domestic abuse against you from contacting you or coming within close proximity of you. If the person who is committing the abuse currently lives in your home, the injunction will force them to leave your home immediately.
If you wish to get more information about filing a temporary injunction against a family member or partner, or if you need advice on making a temporary injunction permanent, contact Kimberly A. O'Steen, P.L. by phone or by filling out the form below.
Do not delay; contact us before the abuse gets worse.
